Learn to make your own macramé chandelier in this workshop! Prior experience is great or confident beginner. In this workshop, your instructor Sterling of the Cactus Lady will guide you in:

Beginning a chandelier, how to use hardware to design your lamp shade shape.
How to work a few knots( including the square knot, half hitch clove knot, & larks head), how to create tiers within your piece to add dimension, and choose your own color rope to add interest.
Leave with a finished chandelier and the knowledge to continue creating pieces of your own.
Class fee includes instruction and all necessary supplies and materials, including all hardware, light bulb, rope color of your choice. (choose between beige/natural, mustard, lake blue, blue, orange, and grey) Prior to the workshop you will receive an email to confirm your color of choice for the workshop.

    At Brooklyn Collective Studio School we seek to provide an affordable, flexible, multi-use space for our community. Devoted to preserving the art of handcraft while supporting local artists, our Studio School offers workshops, classes, pop-up shops, and events as eclectic and creative as the community we serve.
  • The Studio School is a 400 square foot work studio space within the Brooklyn Collective. The studio can accommodate up to 12 students with individual work stations.
